Just bought my second new car from Winnipeg Hyundai and I am amazed at the experience I’ve had each time. We worked with Sumit and Kaelen to finalize the sale of our new Palisade. And even though we had a couple small disagreements they were willing to work with us and find a good compromise so we could leave happy. We also worked with Greg for financing and he was super efficient and easy to work with! I have been going to Winnipeg Hyundai for 4 years now and I honestly hope to continue for years to come! Thank you to your entire team for showing me such excellent service through the years. My kids still love their monster trucks and Hyundai hockey sticks!!

I brought in my 2017 Santa Fe with 110,000 km due to it burning oil. The dealership ran diagnostics, which I understood, but both times, they added a $50 parts fee without actually replacing any parts. After raising this issue, they removed the fee from the second bill.

Despite providing a Carfax report showing my oil change history, the dealership claimed it didn’t qualify as a valid history. When I contacted Jiffy Lube for my records, they informed me that this issue is common with many models of Hyundai from the time—a fact supported by class action lawsuits and online discussions.

After some back and forth, the dealership finally acknowledged the vehicle qualifies for an engine fix, but only under “Good Will assistance,” meaning they’ll cover half the cost—excluding parts, which could add another $200–400 on top of the $600 diagnostic fees. To make matters worse, after the second diagnostic, the check engine light came on, and a burning smell persists. They fixed this directly but clearly did not a great job putting my parts back on post diagnostic. Did I mention the smell persists.

Despite this being a known issue with these engines and my diligent maintenance record, I was given little help. When I asked for formal documentation from the Warranty office, I was again sent the same patronizing text message from the service department, reiterating the "Good Will repair" offer, complete with a smiley face.

If you want to be overcharged, patronized, and receive minimal assistance on a known warranty issue, this is the place to go.

I bought my car through them. Smooth experience. VLAD was really Helpful informative and I loved the fact that Vlad and the Finance manager Leo caronte were just 1 text away for my needs. Leo was on vacation but made sure to reply to my questions. Hands down best service I had. Transition was smooth and they helped me with everything they could.

If I could put 0 stars I would. I brought my new to me vehicle in for what should have been a simple warranty job as it was making a sound days after I got it. Initially I was told they could not replicate the sound, I reexplained what was happening and had them keep it overnight. On day 3 I called no less than 4 times to get an update and could not reach a person nor get my call returned. When I did finally speak to someone I was told it was not warranty and I should make an mpi claim- even though I hadn’t had any incidents/ accidents. I had my spouse pick the vehicle up for me 4 days later and the pictures will show you how the vehicle was returned to me. This is despicable. I will happily drive an extra thirty minutes to take my car elsewhere in the future and would not recommend this store to anyone I care about.
