I've had to switch shops. I was happy for a while but now I think its possible I was getting over quoted for years. Last time I was there the hydraulic arms on my trunk weren't working. They quoted me over 600 for labor and said they had to special order parts from the manufacturer. Turns out that you can get those arms for like 20 bucks and it takes under 10 minutes to install. I think they were taking advantage of the fact that I know nothing about cars.

My regular garage was booked solid and recommended this place. I was having issues with battery keeping charged and found out it was an alternator issue. Westmount called me said yes it's the alternator and they already called KIA for me and that the part alone was $1400.00 + labour cost and that if I got it done with them instead that they could get me an after market part for $864.37+ $349.83(labour) + tax for a total of $1396.33. A friend pointed out that I should double check to see if I still had warranty. I'm so glad I did. I found out my warranty was up but while there something told me to double check the quote on the part. KIA quoted the KIA part at $601.77+$210(labour)+tax. I confronted Westmount about the discrepancy to which the response was complete denial and that the reason I got a better quote was because even though my warranty was up that KIA had given me a special quote because it wasnt far past the warranty to which is complete bull. You either have warranty or you don't. This company tried to rip me off big time. Every garage I called to confirm said that quote was ridiculously outrageous. Thank god I checked but for those who do not know better I feel for them. also I would like to add that I asked who the owner was and he gave me the name but said he wasnt in today. when I got home i notice the guy i dealt with on my bill is the owner. Just complete trash to lie to a customers face to try and scam extra money out of me and from the reviews I just read I can see I'm not the first but that's no surprise considering. If you value your hard earned paychecks steer clear of this place. I also called and let my regular garage who gave the reccomendation know what had happened to which she was grateful and will no longer be sending anyone over there when backed up. People should always get a few opinions even if you recruit a friend to help make those calls because I know how it can be making calls about our vehicles when we ourselves dont know much about them but it seems neccessary when you have companies like this and at a time where every penny counts. Dont give people who rip off thier customers any chance to thrive and stay in business. Wish I didn't have to give the one star it took to be able to write this review.

Just had a pre purchase inspection done on a used RAV4 vehicle. The staff were extremely accommodating, fit us in early the next morning. The inspection was quick and thorough.
