These folks are the real deal. Legit. I came in for brake issues & it turned out my car needed a fair amount of work done to be safe. I know absolutely nothing about cars, but, Troy showed me exactly what needed to be done. They could have easily ripped me off, but, I paid A LOT less than I expected.

I had to get a tow to the garage, and, even the CAA driver said Troy's is the best place to go to around here.

Also, they are super friendly AND they have a couple arcade games! How cool is that?

They are now my go-to garage & I highly recommend them.

My sisters and I were on a road trip when we realized that something was wrong with the passenger side front break caliper. Troy is absolutely fantastic! He was able to take us in and fix it within no time. Great customer service!

5/5 stars for customer service and quality of workmanship. Troy and his employees go above and beyond to ensure that vehicles leave the shop in better condition than when they came in. Rates are fair and worth me driving from Halifax to Kentville to get work done. Troy will be honest and up front and will not gouge prices or false quote jobs that do not need to be done as many other shops are known to do. Highly recommend to anyone from the avg Joe to the car enthusiast.

After getting an obscene quote from another local mechanic, many people suggested TBR. From the moment I walked in I didn’t feel like a customer, I felt like a friend or even family. Troy and his guys are the best bunch around. They will cheer you up if you’re having a bad day due to car related issues, they will show you what is wrong with your car and explain it in a way that you understand, the prices are reasonable and the work is exceptional. I have never had an issue with this shop since I started going there a few years ago. Kevin is a rockstar at finding the best parts that for your budget and one of the most understanding and kindest people you’ll ever meet. Troy and the guys, are also some of the nicest, funniest, smartest, hard working and reliable bunch you’ll come by. You will never be disappointed.

Troy Bennett is without a doubt the best mechanic you will find this end of the province.
My family and I have been relying on Troy to work on all manner of cars for almost 20 years, and in that time, he’s solved problems for me that no one else could.
I’ve brought Troy German cars, Japanese cars, high performance cars, terrible cars, great cars, trucks, and even cars that aren’t commercially sold in North America. Troy can, and will work on anything.
Local dealerships make use of Troy’s expertise when they can’t fix a problem, and it’s clear to me why they do.
I could go on for days about why this is where you should take your car, and why these are the people you should deal with.
They’re honest, they’re reliable, and whether you need something basic, or have an automotive puzzle that can’t be solved by anyone else, they’re the people who can help you.
Troy has just built a new shop in Kentville, and I can’t wait to watch his business expand. 5 Stars, and thanks for years of great work.
