This is one gem of a person right here. While I was driving my driver’s window became misaligned (see picture one) and I called over 10 places to see who could fix it today because there’s no way in hell I’m parking in Los Angeles with a window down. He said he could see me immediately, and there was basically no wait.

He explained to me in detail what he thought might be wrong with the door, and gave me quotes for fixing what he thought it might be, parts, labor, and also offered just a consultation fee at first because he wanted to be sure I knew what I was getting into.

He made an incredibly stressful and scary situation manageable, and offered extremely fair prices considering it was last minute and in the heart of Hollywood/WeHo. He even showed me exactly what it was, and showed me how he was fixing it (second picture).

I hope nothing ever happens to my car again but I know I’ll be coming here if needed.

Donald is the man! I take my car here any time I need work done. His rates are great and he’s really good at what he does. He never tries to squeeze more out of you like a lot of places and gives you multiple options so you get to decide. Plus, he explains any problems in a way that someone who doesn’t know about cars can understand. All that before saying he’s just a really nice and friendly guy. Brought my 2000 Honda Accord here, Donald’s really a great mechanic. He did my Spark Plug,Coils,Breaks Pads& Break Disc, And the big problem of my car that I really needed fix was the main relay. Due to Don's negligence my car is now totalled. I came to find out from other mechanics that he put leak finder in before draining the coolant fluid. This caused caused corrosion and clogging in the coolant system. Not only did he do this but he lied and kept repairing my car trying to take every last penny he could. He choose to be dishonest and unprofessional and I would not recommend him to anyone. Do yourself a favor and don't go here.

Had a radiator go out on my son's Subaru Forester while he was away at school. I had to find a shop that I could trust from a distance. The reviews for The Point Auto Repair seemed good. Donald fixed for a fair price and very quickly. I would definitely use them again if he needs repair work while at school.

Donald is very reliable and fixed my very first car. Purchased a used PT cruiser, he replaced the spark plugs and put in a brand new fan because the A/C was broken. My very 1st car that was sadly wrecked by a drunk driver 5 months after buying it. I recommend Donald and his business!
