3 weeks to get an appointment. If you call them they will put you on hold and hang up. If you send a message through the app you will get a reply in a week or 2 if you are lucky. Ordered parts, said it would take 3 days. Been 2 weeks and can’t even get a response or talk to anyone . Meanwhile I’m without a car for 3 weeks now. Not impressed to say the least

I brought my Model X to this Tesla Service Center multiple times for a persistent wind noise issue while it was under warranty, but the experience has been frustrating, expensive, and still unresolved.

On my first visit, I reported loud wind noise. They informed me that wind noise wasn’t covered under warranty but proceeded with an inspection—including a noise test—and charged me for a fix. When I picked up the car, the wind noise was exactly the same. I immediately notified them through the app, and they advised me to return.

At my second appointment, I pointed out the rear passenger window as a possible source of the noise, noting that it became louder when pressed. After another inspection with a noise test and another charge, they made some adjustments. While the noise improved slightly, it was still very noticeable. I reported the ongoing issue and was told to schedule a third appointment.

Before my third visit, I clearly stated that I’d already paid for this issue twice and did not want to be charged again for an unresolved problem. They assured me through the app that there would be no additional charge as long as there was no outside damage. This time, I highlighted the rear driver’s side window as another possible noise source. When I arrived, however, Dino informed me that it would cost $210 for an inspection (with a noise test) and $150 to fix the rear driver’s side window, claiming it hadn’t been identified in the previous inspections. To make matters worse, this quote was higher than the estimate I had received through the app. At this point, I declined the service.

It’s disappointing that Tesla did not identify all sources of the wind noise during the first two inspections and noise tests, despite charging me each time for that purpose. I shouldn’t have to pinpoint the problem myself, especially when I’m paying for multiple inspections. I expected Tesla’s service to thoroughly address the issue—not continue charging me to identify new “sources” with each visit. This experience has been far from the quality I expected from Tesla.

Railroaded at Railside,

Sure all these reviews are subjective -- I'm mindful of this -- but just mid-afternoon today I pull up in a drop-off stall and was met with some really serious aggression and attitude. I had an employee run up toward my car insistent that I move my car to make room for a fleet car her colleague was driving. The driver of the fleet car who it seems was already on edge about something -- his arms flailing about in the car, one out the drivers side window of the car he was driving -- (angry much...and driving...as an employee of Tesla? Nice) was also the worker that I encountered when I came to the check-in counter. Getting his grunt in answer to my providing information on my wish to drop off my car, and knowing I'd get nowhere farther in this exchange, I chose to leave with my car not trusting that if this is the level of care a car owner receives what care might a car get at such a place?

Fellow Tesla driver, I would most seriously suggest looking to the Mississauga location. People will still go for service at Railside, but don't say you haven't had fair warning as to the shoddy treatment experienced.

Bottom line, Tesla drivers buy, finance or lease the vehicle cash on the barrel; now we just get to be tossed across that same barrel and flogged with ungracious tongues from those charged with servicing the cars. How about we supercharge getting the passive aggression in for servicing -- and soonest. Be well all.

Overall 4/10 given the number of reviews is a gift. My family and I (owners of three Tesla vehicles) won't be returning customers to Railside, that's for certain.

I recently visited the North York-Railside service center for an appointment. Overall, it was a mixed experience, with both positive and negative aspects.

When I arrived, I parked my car in the designated spot and proceeded to the customer care area. The staff took my key card and instructed me to wait in the waiting room. I was informed that the job would take approximately 1.5 hours to complete.

One disappointing aspect was that I requested shuttle service, but it was not available. I was informed that Tesla does not offer ride services, which was inconvenient for me. It would be great if they could consider providing shuttle services in the future to enhance customer convenience.

On a positive note, I noticed a self-service coffee machine in the waiting room, which was a nice touch. I appreciated having access to refreshments during my wait.

While waiting, I used the Tesla app to send inquiries regarding some other issues with my car. However, I was informed that during this visit, they would only address the specific job mentioned in the appointment. For any other inquiries, I was advised to make a separate appointment. It would be helpful if the staff could assist with additional inquiries or provide guidance during the visit to make the most of the appointment time.

Later, I received a text message notifying me that the job was completed and my car was parked outside in the parking lot. I was also informed that my key card was left in the car and that I did not need to meet with anyone before leaving. This streamlined process was appreciated, as it allowed me to quickly get back on the road.

In conclusion, my overall experience at the service center was satisfactory. However, I would suggest considering the implementation of shuttle services in the future to accommodate customers who may require transportation. Additionally, providing assistance with inquiries during the appointment would further enhance the customer experience.

My car died after 200 km on the odometer in the underground garage(barnd new car) 2023 Model Y. The tow company damaged the car, trying to get it out. Car had some panel issues and tail light issues. They sent me a text to pick up the car after 1 day. I go there to find more damage to my brand new car. 1. The tail light gap was not only fixed, but the tail light didn't turn on anymore. Hand prints and spots all over my white head liner. They placed some trim parts in the back seat, which scratched the seats and door plastics and seats. The gap on the hood looked bigger as they were supposed to adjust it. Damges to my passenger door window and the trim inside make rattling noise after repair for defctive window motor. All of my complaints were ignored by the staff until i had to call sales and ask them to buy back the car. One of my other friends also did not have a good experience dealing with this service center after getting his car and had to take it again to the one at Vaghun. After talking to them, they only offered to fix everything, but I have been waiting weeks now for the service appointment. The car had some paint issues as well, and their response was that the bodyshop is busy and will let you know. I am not satisfied at all and still waiting for mobile service and body shop call will all the issues listed. The only explanation for the car dying was that the soft set connector was loose. I'm super disappointed in my 90k investment and how this service center treated my car. Take it somewhere else, save your self headache.

Went to this Tesla service location to diagnose a vibration problem. I was only having on the highway. Technicians couldn’t find a problem related to this, but didn’t even take it on a highway test which is the reason I went in the first place.

Still got charged for diagnosis with the service advisor apologizing because of the amount of traffic in the area even though they had my vehicle for more than a day and how busy they are . Both not the customers problem

I had my first Tesla service at this location for my MYLR and I was in and out in an hour. I had a few items that needed addressing from delivery and there team was extremely quick to get my car in and complete the service quickly. I love the way Tesla does their service, the app tells you your car is ready, you can just walk out get in and leave. Shout out to the team at this location, very friendly and professional. A great first impression in joining the Tesla family.

Thanks MJ and team for your quick, efficient and overall pleasant service experience.
I was scarred from a couple of bad experiences from Vaughan service, so opted for this service center. My appointment was for tire rotation and clicking noise from the air vent, the team fixed both.
This service center's operation and experience should be THE reference for other GTA service centers to learn from.
Thanks again folks for your hard work while keeping a happy and pleasant vibe all around.
