? Great News! ?
NOW that TASCA bought WP Volkswagen, it has waaaaaay better service! I learned this first hand when unexpectedly my 2018 Beetle broke down without any prior notice on the dashboard!

It's Saturday, my day off when the car just became unsafe to drive. I'm freaking out because I work the next day & I NEED a car! I called Tasca VW, NOT knowing they have a NEW Service Manager, Mr Albino. Mr. Albino told me to get the car towed to them & he'll have a loner car for me. (I'm like how? Previous times when I needed a loner they've told me 5 weeks I'd have to wait!) He just said that they'd have a car for me! (When I got there I noticed the entire Service Wait Area has been redesigned, painted, its very nice!) Mr. Albino saw how distressed I was & did his best to calm me & took care of me personally with all the paperwork, etc.
It's Saturday, August 3rd. I was told to call back on Monday. When I did they told me that my car is being looked at by Miguel, their Assistant Mgr. & he would call me back. When Miguel called me, he informed me that it was my Transmission! (I only have 38,500 on a 2018 car!) He explained to me that the part is being ordered & they should have it next week. So next week comes & I learn that the part is on backorder & they do NOT know when the part will be in. I really don't mind since I do have a loner to drive for work.

As the WEEKS passed, yes 5 WEEKS! I'm rethinking that buying a Beetle was a bad idea. They have DISCONTINUED making the VW Beetle. Is this going to be an ongoing thing if something else breaks down?
I FINALLY got my car back on September 6th, Friday. Miguel walked through with me how they throughly examined the car & that it's a great car, well made & I shouldn't have any problem if anything does happen in regard to getting a part. (It will be a classic in another 15 years since they're not making anymore Beetles, & I want to give the car to my granddaughter as a gift.)
ALSO, I didn't have to pay for anything since it's still covered by VW.

TASCA VOLKSWAGEN did a fantastic job! Their Service Manager, Mr Albino has really transformed the Service Dept.! (Thank goodness because it was going downhill before he arrived!) I feel secure owning a VW since Volkswagen is now part of the Tasca family of automobiles!
Thank you Mr. Albino & Miguel!

I explained to them I had to wait because I didn’t have a ride so they put me as a priority to have my car looked at ASAP. They fixed everything that was wrong with the car for a very reasonable cost. Everyone was very nice and everything was explained to me very thoroughly. It was overall a very pleasant experience. Thank you!

Avoid this place like the plague. Take your car to literally any other VW service centre.

Awful customer service first and foremost. I had to call multiple times towards the end of the day to know if I could come and pick my car up. Eventually was told about 15 minutes before closing that I could come and get it.

Took my car in for a check engine light and state inspection test. Was told that the check engine light is for an o2 sensor and they’d need to order the part. They would call in a couple of days to let me know when it was in. I ended up having to call them because no one called me.

Booked the car in. Was told everything was covered under warranty. Same deal as last time, had to call multiple times to know if the car was ready. Was then told that it wasn’t ready as the issue was “chewed wires”. Which magically was not covered under the warranty and so the cost would be $596. But they replaced the sensor for me anyway, the light wouldn’t be switched off until the wires were replaced. They wouldn’t show me pictures.

Decided I’d take it to another service centre. I didn’t tell them the problem. The new place told me that the o2 sensor needed replacing. I explained what had happened previously and they informed me that White Plains service centre had fitted a new sensor in the wrong place. Hence why the light was still on. They replaced the faulty sensor and lo and behold the engine light went off. No mention about chewed wires.

This place tried to scam me out of nearly $600. When everything should have been covered by warranty.

I had a very good experience with the service department. I didn't have to wait a week for an appointment like some other places and they didn't try to talk me into a bunch of unnecessary repairs. In fact, the problem I was having disappeared on the day of my appointment, so they told me if I wanted to bring it back some other time when the problem starts again rather than sinking a bunch of money into a diagnostic that might not show anything, they were okay with it. So...I can't really speak to their repair work or the cost, but I thought they treated their customers pretty well and I will probably bring it back to them if I get another problem.

I've used this service center for years before change of management for my old vw. First time using them with my new car. My streering wheel leather was peeling, no fault of the dealer. They were able to order me a new streering wheel and have the bad one replaced at no charge using the warranty. My schedule got crazy and the streering ordered was for a lesser car but they got the correct one the next day. They worked with me to squeeze me last minute and replaced everything. I wasn't on a time crunch so I worked with my laptop using their wifi and complementary coffee. They also had new12 on while I waited. Great Service! Thank you Miguel!

One of my key fobs was not working turning on and the alarm. The shop at VW Tasca charged 199 to check it and said this fee would cover the reprogramming of BOTH keys if I did not need a new key. If I needed a new key then the 199 would cover the reprogramming of the new and the other existing working key. I did not need a new key. The non working just needed to be reprogrammed and they reprogrammed the other working key for 199 plus tax. Nice customer service. Walk in waiting time about an hour.

I live in Manhattan and go to the VW dealer in Manhattan for service. They wanted to charge 269 to program the non working key, if I did not need a new key, plus another 269 to reprogram the other working key. They wanted to charge an extra 300 bucks. I will not go there again.
