This place is incredible. Let me share how they helped me out. I own a 2003 GMC 1500HD, and I had a catastrophic engine failure that left me needing a tow home from Highway 87 and Cline Cabin Road. After considering costs and my skill set, I decided to install a factory-rebuilt engine myself. I bought the "new" motor and installed it. It started up and seemed to run great until I took it for a test drive. The power was low, and the idle sounded worse and worse, like several lifters were ticking.

I took the truck to a local machine shop, and they recommended I take it to Service Techniques. I called to confirm I could drop it off, and they approved. They had the truck for about a week, and I wasn’t in a hurry. They diagnosed a bad thrust bearing, which was troubling since the engine should have been basically new and was beyond my scope of work. I contacted the remanufacturer and gave them Service Techniques' number since they wouldn’t deal with me directly.

Service Techniques went back and forth with the company for several weeks, ultimately getting another "new" engine shipped to their facility. They even placed the engine in the back of my truck. I doubt anyone else would have identified the bad thrust bearing and dealt with the remanufacturer to get me another engine. They also supported my installation of the first "new" engine, ensuring it wasn’t written off as a novice mechanic's bad install.

After installing the second "new" engine, I took the truck back to Service Techniques for an evaluation. They gave their stamp of approval and again praised my installation. The owner and mechanics' knowledge is astounding. They went above and beyond for me, and I can’t thank them enough. I highly recommend Service Techniques.

I have been going to Service Techniques for years. They have serviced my pathfinder, my RAM 1500 and now my RAM 2500. They are extremely knowledgeable and professional. Any work they have done for me has been absolutely topnotch! But here is the amazing thing…there have been a few times they have told my that I didn’t need to do what I thought I did. How many times have you heard that when you took your vehicle in for service? So besides being great mechanics, they are at the head of the class for integrity. The Jeep dealership replaced my rear rotors but after a few months, they started to rust. I had no idea Mopar rotors come stock painted with high-heat paint. The dealership did not inform me this would happen. When I explained that I wanted it fixed they refused and said "no one else cares about it and the rust doesn't hurt the rotors." They made me feel petty and high maintenance when all I wanted was the best for my vehicle.

I was so fortunate to have found Service Techniques shortly after this incident. After several wonderful visits here, I explained the rusty rotor story to Kevin. Without question or hesitation, he offered to take care of the issue during my next service. They were so happy to help and made me feel so much better about the situation. Now every time I walk up to my Jeep I smile looking at those beautiful rear rotors!

They just fix cars. No upselling, no sales tactics. We’ve had a couple of tricky issues that Kevin has diagnosed accurately, and then fixed for a fair price. We get all our oil changes here because it’s quality work, and I know they won’t try and sell me a new cabin air filter after putting one in myself.
