Technician replaced rollers on top rack of our Kenmore dishwasher and was here for just 35 minutes. Parts were $34 and the bill came to $368. The labor cost was outrageous for such a simple repair. (Warranty for one month only). I will not be using Sears Home Services again. The repairman was cordial, professional and apologetic for the charge. I did not receive an itemized invoice for my records after paying the serviceman. He claimed that it would be emailed to me later. No paper trail…very suspicious. Please email the paid invoice to me as promised for the service rendered.

The serviceman who serviced our refrigerator was one of the most outstanding servicemen I have ever accounted.
His knowledge, skill, experience and dedication all were in evidence on tackling the challenging matter with our refrigerator.
His success in solving our problem confirmed our decision to have extended our Sears service contract last year.

Al did a great job once he got there. Timeless was the issue. Not sure who's fault this was..his or Sears. Our repair was held over from Friday meaning we should have been scheduled first. Secondly, instead of him coming to our house at a time (approx) he said he was suppose to be, he went to assist another tech. Once more time was needed, another tech should have been dispatched to our house or to assist the other tech so Al could be timely with his assigned customers. Showed 5-6 hours later than estimated. Again, bad dispatching by Sears.

I had technician come out and check appliance. Make an initial diagnosis and ordered parts. Parts were delivered to my house quickly, but their online system seemed to be unable to recognize that the parts were delivered. I got stuck in an endless loop of Sears scheduling and cancelling my appointment because they kept saying I didn't receive my parts. Their customer service was worthless.

He even went out of his way and he picked up a part that was missing.We explained to him we had been without this fridge since September.

As a follow up to my original post from Monday, 9:23. Today, 9/25 another technician came . I give him five stars for being knowledgeable and helpful but the first repair I paid for and purchased warranty. Net net the repair that was done was not the problem and I would have to pay to try another resolution. What!? If I brought my car to mechanic and they replaced engine and my engine blew as I pulled out of the shop, he’d have to make good on the bad repair. Same here. I paid $$$ for something on Monday that I didn’t need. The tech that came today knows the entire story and I given him five starts for checking it out and for advice. . I’m tired of repeating it the situation. You are referring me to a number I’ve called already on Monday and spend too much time explaining my story. Someone can call me. The tech who came today has my number as do you.

Mondays review is below. Not same tech. “Today at around 8:35 am parts were installed to fix issue. Tech left around 9 ish. About five minutes after he left I turned on oven to bake and bam, same problem. Had oven set at 375 and the entire thing shut down, like all power went off which was the problem before and why I called for service. I assumed the tech tested it but I guess not. Very nice guy but I paid a lot of money to have the same issue.”

I had a washing repair appt. The technician was very nice but they needed to order a part and expected to collect the entire amt for part(around $100) and labor$300 in advance. I would never pay in advance for labor..wow. Beware. I bought a new machine instead
