I really appreciated it, considering I was driving the car back a long distance in the rain. Ask for Brendan Johnson - he definitely went the extra mile for me!

Bought my car from them back in april 2024, had some issues so i contacted parts to get it fixed. Spoke with Kathie and i will say i was mind blown by the help and advice she gave. Perfect customer service, she did above and beyond she could to help out and was super polite and open minded. Overall great person, great reception, great service and amazing experience. On December 21, 2024 I purchased a 2019 Genesis g70 manual sedan from Brendan at Owen Sound Hyundai. I highly recommend dealing with Brendan when it comes to purchasing a vehicle. He made buying a car very easy, stress free and didn't pressure me. I drove from Ancaster, Ontario to purchase this car and it was worth my drive.

Had a great experience purchasing my car. Zak, the salesman, was fantastic—he made the entire process seamless from start to finish, and took the time to thoroughly explain all the features and answer all my questions. Also, Rebbecca, the finance manager, was patient and quickly helped me run some scenarios to find the best option that suits me. The whole team made the experience stress-free and quick! Just the worst place I've ever dealt with. Had my car for almost 10 months for a warranty motor replacement and ghosted my wife and I every time we asked what the hell was taking so long. Got the car back and within one day it had to be limped back in because it was still not running right on the now second motor. Couldn't figure out what was wrong so gave me some money to go away and I did. After picking up my winter tires that were stored there as the car sat there for three seasons of a year, turns out they were not my blizzaks. Wife picked them up with my name on the plastic bags so they insist that means they are mine. I called and left about four messages about the tires. Finally spoke to a human to be told the tire guy was not in and they promised to return my call. I then emailed the business about five times. They ghosted me every time so I emailed the last time with a title insinuating I was looking for a new car. Answered immediately. Told the guy I was checking the functionality of their email. Turns out it works. Just horrendous service. I gave up. Free random no name tires that do not fit an elantra for whoever needs them!!

Edit: I don't understand how you responded so quick to a review but ignored me for two years. The review stands.

If you're looking for a vehicle, I suggest heading to Owen Sound Hyundai and asking for Zak! Zak was extremely polite, knowledgeable, and accommodating. We were a new family looking for an upgrade, and Zak was able to find us exactly what we were looking for. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with and I cannot recommend him more!!

I purchased a certified pre owned 2022 from this location in September. My salesman was Eric. The vehicle had several bodywork issues to each I addressed he kept reassuring me that the car would like brand new when I took it over. I pointed out everything that I would like done for me to buy the car (free of all dents, scratches, the rocker panels painted and the flaking chrome on the front fascia). I put a deposit down and about a week later when I drove by I noticed a lot still wasn't done, at his point he told me that would need to be covered under warranty and again he reassured me that the car would look new and he would make good on his word. At this point I asked for it to be added to the bill of sale which he agreed.

On pick up day, nothing was added to the bill of sale, I hand wrote in the changes and the finance manager signed my copy. I did not do a walk around the car as I trusted it was complete as it had already gone to the body shop, it was my first time buying a car and I am a woman, frankly I feel as though they took advantage of that fact. When I left i noticed the rocker panels not done and there was still several dents, they did not fix half the things Eric told me they would and the car did not look brand new. I immediately went back to the dealership and asked Eric, he told me not to worry that would all be done when the car came back in for the front fascia repairs.

We took it in and the parts manager agreed to uphold the agreement. Which they ended up fixing the inner wheel wells and an additional dent at the bodyshop that was supposed to have been done before pickup. We asked the body shop to do a couple extras while it was in there for us to pay what the dealership wouldn't. I suppose somewhere in this there was a miscommunication perhaps? When I went to pick up the car the rocker panels were still rusted and not painted, the bodyshop informed that the dealership advised they would only pay to fix the one small dent. We agreed to add it to the list of things we would pay for. I had made a point to mention to the Eric the rocker panels, that should have been on the list of things to fix so in my opinion it should have been done (which was only $200 more I may add).

I went to the dealership to speak to the manager, Paul, simply to express what happened and how to me this was unfair. He didn't even say hello before he literally started yelling at me in front of the whole lobby telling me I was wasting his lunch break, and he knew exactly what I was there about and had no interest in talking to me, he never said I could go to there with a laundry list of things to fix (mind you we had never spoken before).

My father, who recommended Hyundai, has purchased 5 cars there, as well always recommended friends and family, myself included. I truly cannot explain enough how I would urge anyone to go anywhere else, at least to another location.

For anyone looking to purchase, they should be aware the the certified pre-owned Hyundai program. The car must meet certain standards that this location is not upholding before selling as 'Certified Pre-Owned' not just 'used'. I was not issued 2 master keys, the paint finish and exterior was not in good condition, the trim finish and appearance not in good condition, the frame had visible damage, the rims had visible damage, the condition of the leather had a stain, the gear shifter is heavily worn, all supposed to be fixed prior to taking vehicle into my possession. I realize I purchased a used vehicle that comes with normal wear and tear, this was beyond that, we are talking rust, dents, scratches, broken inner wheel wells, flaking chrome fascia, worn interior, etc. All included in the CPO checklist to be completed before sale.

I tried to handle this with Eric, then the general manager Paul. We cannot fathom how disappointing this has all been especially after my family being customers for so long of this location. Please do not make the same mistakes as I, go somewhere else.
