I went there for a vibration issue over 100 km/h. The bearing was repaired, but they tried to make me believe that my suspension needed fixing. I doubted it and refused. When I left the garage, the vibration was even worse, starting at just 30 km/h. I realized that my rear wheel had been completely loosened to make me think there was a suspension problem. This garage is very dishonest, and it could have been dangerous for my life.

I am from out of town and stopped into MacLeods because it was the first shop I passed after my car started making a suspicious noise. They were great to us. The man at the desk was clearly extremely busy but he took the car for a drive and removed a plastic piece that was causing the problem. We asked to pay him but he would not accept payment. They were recommended to me by a friend. I'd had a click while steering and a wobble at highway speeds for quite a while which other shops couldn't seem to fix. MacLeods diagnosed and repaired it for a fair price within a day. It was faster to get in than my old shop too. I only have this experience but so far so good 🙂

Recently, they fit me in for a last minute inspection for a potential car purchase. Dropped it off at 2:30 and they had it ready for me by 5 which saved me a ton of hassle.

My wife also recently dropped our vehicle off for our tire change. She had our one year old daughter with her and the staff offered to give us a ride back home. We live nearby and she had already planned to walk back though, but it was a wonderful gesture.

I took my car here recently for a front break job and also my car was making a rattling noise that they said they could fix, after handing over $1200 to them within seconds of driving away I could hear the noise, I went back but they were closed so I took it there after the weekend, I told the mechanic that the car was still making the noise that I had paid $700 to have fixed, they took another look at it and then told me it was the exhaust and that it would be an extra $700 on top of what I just paid, the exhaust was not the rattling noise and neither was the two control arms that they charged me $700 for, I gave them a total of $1200 for a front break job and a rattling noise that they couldn't even fix but wanted to keep doing more work on the car, the problem is a sway bar link not two control arms and the exhaust, I gave them $1200 and they wanted to keep me paying and keep fixing things that I didn't bring the car there for, and on top of this they left my car mat stained with oil all three times I was there, two times I had to power wash the mat and the last time I had to say something and they cleaned it, my uncle recommended this place so I thought it would be ok but I will never go back to macleods auto.
