I drive a 2022 Honda CRV, just run 38000 kilometre. As a side gig I thought to drive a Uber. August I log into the Uber and Uber request me to get the vehicle safety certificate. I see their Advertisement and get appointment as they were asking $67.00 for Uber/Lyft safety certification. I reached there Anmol received the car key and told me to pay 1st, I did as per him. Later he come back and show me my vehicle is failed to inspection & i require to replace all 4 tires to get my certificate.

Dude I always my vehicle on parkway Honda. Timely- wheel rotation, alignment everything is done on time. Why the heck you want me to change the tire that just run 38000 kilometre on 2022 CRV.

When I denied and ask them to refund my money another black guy and a bearded Indian came outside and start threatening me they will report to uber that my vehicle is not fit. They denied to refund me which I asked to provide me an invoice as a proof . I am thinking to go to MTO or will take you to civil court for my loss.

Same day on august 6th I drove to Honda service and got my safety certificate done.

Holy cow, why this scammers are allowed to do business- These guys are par above the scamming limits . Be alert and never ever try them for uber certification or else any repair work seeing Facebook marketplace advertisement.

I call the guy and made and appointment to get my safety done to transfer over my car.

I made the appointment for next day at 1 pm and I asked about the price he told me $150, then I call him 30 min before I arrive and tell him I’m coming in for my safety and he says okay.

When I get there the guy there told me to wait for the other guy to get here he’s on a test drive witch is okay I waiting for 30 min. Then he gets there and tells me that the safety is $200 and a $50 inspection fee on top of that. Lol plus a whole lesson on how the safety works. I told him okay do it because I just need the car saftied. He said okay let me talk to one of my techs.

Then he comes back and tells me my tech doesn’t want to work on the car today and he can’t do it.

What kind of place make appointment and gets ppl to go to there place and doesn’t want to do the work all tho I agreed to pay the price even tho he doubled it.

This place is a waste of your time don’t come here they only do work for there own ppl lol (Indians) and most work looks shady and I will be reporting them to MTO.

I had a great experience at JK Auto Garage! I came here for a safety inspection for Uber, and they got the job done quickly and efficiently. I tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt, but after reading through the reviews, I can tell the ones with the 1-star rating are truthful. I’ve been here a couple of times to patch tires and do tire inspections and when I went to have my snow tires changed, I thought it would be a quick and easy thing. They asked that I take the tires out of my other vehicle and leave them on the sidewalk. The person from the front counter, I think his name is Sunny, came out to check them. He proceeded to pick up one wheel and drop it roughly on the sidewalk. It made a loud bang and when we looked at the rim, we saw scratches from the impact. These rims are not cheap and for them to have total disregard for them was extremely upsetting, especially when we pointed it out to Sunny, he proceeded to say “this is how we treat them. We throw them around like this in the shop.” I’ve previously brought my car in to change a tire and now that rim has a crack. I suspect that they could’ve damaged it when I brought it there initially if “this is how they treat them in the back.” We had also had brought a vehicle in for a safety check a month ago and they also told us that the brakes needed to be replaced. Now, after reading all of these negative reviews about the safety issues, I’m sad to say that we were probably scammed in this way as well.

Excelente experience, I went to get my safety inspection for uber, it was super quick and easy. In less than 15 minutes, I have it. Staff is friendly, they have a comfortable waiting area for customers.

Came here with an an urgent request to get the safety inspection done as everywhere else I was getting the appointment for Monday. They were kind enough to accept my urgent request and squeeze me in between appointments.

I was explained detailed information about how the safety inspection would be done and they would have to meet the government standard guidelines to check and then what all details goes into inspection. I feel very satisfied with their services and honest and clear communication.

Definitely will recommend to everyone else for a peace of mind service experience.

Worst customer service ever. I called in 45 minutes ago before coming in. I was on time but the guy was rude and told me straight to my face wait for 1.5 hours. I asked him if i can go eat something and comeback in 1 hour, and he was like, I wont be doing it, someone else will come. Haven’t you guys heard of “appointments”? Worst! place i have ever been to
