I called dozens of LG technicians before I talk to a representative Serge from Home Tech Repair, he asked me what no other technician asked me. How old was my refrigerator after obtaining the answer. He politely told me that it was under warranty and I called LG and scheduled a repair through him. He came out later when he said he would come and did exactly what he said he was going to fix the problem. He is the only honest technician I spoke to and from what I can see he does magnificent work and I recommend if you need an LG refrigerator repaired call no one but him. He is amazing

I would like to thank Technician Serge for his service and kindness. My fridge suddenly stopped cooling. I called the warranty and they sent Serge from Home Tech Repair. Serge was very polite, friendly and provided great communication and service. He called me to let me know when he would be at my house. He arrived earlier than estimated. He was very clear with the repair, explained what was wrong with the fridge (compressor), and quickly got to work. The job was done in maybe an hour, and my fridge started cooling instantly. My oven with electronic ignition stopped igniting so I had to call for repair. After I gave my stove serial number Sergei determined that they don't make the part anymore for my stove. He did some research and found that Whirlpool makes a similar part. He came out and was able to adapt the part to my oven and make it work again, He is a magician and gave me very good service at a fair price. Thank you Sergei!

I wish I could leave zero stars. Home Tech Repair was assigned to me via my Home Warranty Company. I called Home Tech to schedule the in home visit. From the start they were incredibly rude and aggressive in tone. He first began to explain to me that the repair/replacement of my carbon monoxide detector would not be covered under my warranty (which it is. I verified with the company and clearly see it written in my contract). After I informed him of this information he then tells me he has no idea when we can come. I remind him that the point of my phone call is to schedule the service and I need an estimated date and time. He goes on to say something along the lines of "if not tomorrow, then the next day, and if not that day the day after that. I'll get there when I get there." I tell him that answer is unacceptable, as I need to make plans and the issue is urgent. He starts to yell at me and telling me that it's not his problem (rant rant). I would not feel safe having such an individual in my home: aggressive, short fused, etc.

I am extremely upset with Home Tech Repair and their technician. This individual is a con artist and should not be trusted. He claimed our AC unit had numerous major issues and demanded a significant amount of money upfront to fix them. After paying, he became difficult to reach and continued to ask for more money without delivering results.

I sought a second opinion, and another technician confirmed that most of the issues were either exaggerated or nonexistent. It became clear that Home Tech Repair deliberately misled us to extort money. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue and request a refund, they refused to acknowledge any wrongdoing.

In summary, Home Tech Repair is dishonest and unethical. Avoid them at all costs and seek a reputable technician instead. This company should not be trusted.

I highly recommend working with Home Tech Repairs. I was worried about how much it would cost and if it would be more beneficial just to buy a new dryer and Serge was so transparent about the pricing before he arrived and I knew I was in good hands. He arrived on time, fixed the dryer quickly and even educated me on the best ways to upkeep my dryer so that I needed less repairs!

LG sent me a list of names of people who are certified to fix my dryer and home tech repair was the only company that had good reviews and I am happy that I can be another good review for them because they did a great job fixing my dryer

Our LG washer was repaired by Sergey (sp). When I asked, he identified the issue, estimated the cost of the repair, stated he would order the component, and promised to come back after it was delivered. After installing a drain pump, the washer operates flawlessly. He is reasonable and professional; he never tried to raise the fee over what he had estimated. Pump and installation were covered by a six-month warranty. I'll be utilizing his services going forward...?
