Not the right place to fix your car!
This shop is the worst mechanic shop I have ever experienced. I took my car to him to replace the engine. He was selling his old engine to me that had 130k for $1400 without the labor. However, I got a good a deal with low-mileage engine that had only 20-25k with 5 months warranty, and Nadeem, the owner of the shop told me that he’ll only charge me for the labor if I bring him my own engine. When I delivered him the engine, he started making excuses that the engine is different and he has to make a conversion. Since I am myself a mechanic and I knew that it’s exactly the same engine, so he had to only take the old engine’s intake manifold and install it into the new engine which he did so. The next day he called me and said that the new engine crankshaft is different and the fly well hits the engine. when I checked it myself and showed it to his mechanic that it was not different, after a couple of hours his mechanic messed up the engine’s timing which blocked the engine and it could not rotate 360 degrees . So, he called me and told me that “this engine is bad,” and I have to return it and get his old engine so that he could make money on me. He took $600 from me in advance for the labor which he did not pay it back and finally, I could not spend more money on the car, so I junked my $5000 worth of car. I obviously caught him robbing my pocket. His intention is how to sell you his after market and the worst quality parts and make money on you. Mr. Nadeem, the owner of the Chicago Auto Repair shop is not a trustworthy person, and hence, I strongly do not recommend anyone to take his or her car to this shop to wast their money, time and be mistreated. Mr. Nadeem is 70 plus years old and yet he has not learnt honesty and good customer service. I do not recommend anyone by any means to repair his or her car at this shop!

I was there technician for 3 weeks at this place I do not recommend anyone whatsoever to go to the shop. This is not a mechanic shop this is a butcher shop they will rob you as much as they can the owner Nadeem and his wife have no experience in business or in the automotive industry all they're doing is taking people for their money and guaranteed them or warranting them parts and labor that they cannot actually warranty. Again I would not recommend anyone to go work there or to take their cars to get any kind of service. The owners constantly bicker with each other argue in front of customers do not know how to treat customers. I do not recommend this place for any type of work at all.

He's a dishonest person . He's keeps playing games with all my friends that go to him . Once a customer goes to him once . They never go back . I had a friend who needed a simple engine replacement. And they damaged that car to the point where the car had to be junked

Me and my friend took our car to his shop to fix the auxel but he put the worst quality parts,after the market into our car and brok right on spot

This business consistently parks cars in the bike lane endangering cyclists by forcing them into the car lane. This puts drivers at risk as well. Many people have discussed this issue with the business and they do not care. I will never spend money here.

Could barely communicate with the one manager/owner, couldn't communicate at all with the workers. Very expensive for a standard oil change. Very hard to get into and out of (backing up onto a busy street from a car shop surrounded by street-parked cars.)

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! Chose that place was big mistake. They changed the price while they working on. He yelled at me and also he throw my card and he wanted cash!!! So rude !!! Choose this place if you waste your money and stressed out!!!
