I had a good load on my homemade trailer this week. 1860 pounds of heavy melt including 5 motors.
It was awesome to finally be there when a Claw/Magnet Operator was able to unload me instead of doing it myself.
Saved me time and my back as well.

Out of all the yards I go to Benmet Owen sound keeps the yard clear of small things that can puncture a tire. They sweep the ground regularly to the point I would walk barefoot where the shredded metal gets unloaded.

The staff is great. Very friendly and I enjoy how much they put into the customer service experience.
All the staff represent their location extremely well.

I had gone to the Guelph location many times before. When I moved up north, I was struggling to find a place. When they finally opened up the owen sound location. It was a game changer. Guys are great. Bathroom is hot in the cold of winter. Lot is well organized and clean to drive on. Get to play the wheel of fortune and take a jolly rancher for the road. No crotchety old farts. I will continue coming back. As long the jolly rancher bowl stays full!

These guys are honest hard working people. Paul was patient with me and clearly explained the different grades of metals++. Fair prices for your scrap metal and safe recycling of these metals. Josh helped me unloaded my batteries from my truck tailgate, all round a pleasant experience.

This was my first time to Benmet and it was a wonderful experience. I was dealing with Mark in the weigh area, he was extremely pleasant and personable. Everything was very transparent and efficient. I will most definitely be returning.
