Mały zajazd przy drodze, na którym można się zatrzymać i podziwiać zapierające dech w piersiach widoki. Dojazd do tego miejsca również jest malowniczy. Zdjęcia nie oddają w pełni tego, czego można doświadczyć na miejscu. Trzeba mieć szczęście, żeby tutaj zaparkować, bo miejsca jest bardzo mało. Naprawdę warto odwiedzić to miejsce!

Wonderful hillwalking to Whitehope Heights and Crown of Scotland. Quiet peaceful. Annandale Way leads over Annanhead Hill to col before Whitehope Heights where the way veers to the tight downhill at a large cairn. Rougher walking onwards and back round via Barncorse Knowe and Crown of Scotland. Wild and wonderful.

Great spot for a mini 2 hour hike around the Beeftub. Some interesting historical facts about this place. Well worth a visit.

What a location and what a view even in misty, damp conditions. The story goes that back in the day this area was used to hide stolen cattle, hence the Devils Beeftub. There is also a Covenanter Memorial to John Hunter (1685). He was shot by pursuing dragoons under Colonel James Douglas. If you travel this way it is worth the stop, for some reason the memorial is not signposted and it seemed a little forgotten.
