State transmission is simply a life saver. My daughter (who is a full time college student) was having transmission problems with her Chevy Spark. We first took it to AMMCO ( what a nightmare that was), after having the car for two days and wanting more money to continue diagnosis of the problem, AAMCO had no answers only more questions. I stumbled upon State Transmission on Google called them, talked to Carlos he got us in first thing the next morning. Within about 2 hours he had it diagnosed, repaired and back on the road ( working perfectly I might add). And he accomplished all of this at less than 1/4th the price that AAMCO wanted to charge me. Carlos really went above and beyond the call of duty and saved the day. I would highly recommend State Transmission, Carlos is a knowledgeable and honest guy and he didn't hesitate to not only explain what was wrong but he also showed me, he didn't hide behind "the insurance clause" like nearly all other shops do, his guys work right in the open and had no problem with me observing the work they were doing. I will DEFINITELY trust all of my vehicles with Carlos and his team at State Transmission.

I took my Nissan juke to Carlos at the shop. He was very friendly when I got there and worked on my car that same day. It is a very honest mechanic shop and is the best mechanic shop I've ever gone to. Most mechanics like to rip you off and are dishonest. It's very difficult to find a good mechanic but I hit the jackpot with this one. He is very honest and good at what he does. He knows what he is doing and he cares a lot about the customer and has very reasonable prices. Aside from the amazing customer service, he fixed my radiator and my air compressor and my car runs excellent. I will never go to another mechanic again. Ten out of ten reccomend!!!

First I want to say that I am not basing my review off of physical work done on my car. I took my car in to get fixed around 9 in the morning and the guy told me he would give me a call once he knew if he could or could not get the part. At about 1:30 I decided to call and see what was going on. He proceeded to tell me “oh my parts guy doesn’t have it”. All day I went without my car when he could’ve called me right away and told me so I could go get my car and use it. I was upset that there was no consideration. Then I get my car back and THE WORKERS ENDED UP STEALING MY WEED! It was not in plain sight. If you’re looking for a good shop I suggest driving a little further down the street for some better service and maybe some nonsmokers. This really should be 0 stars smh

Sure... You have changed to my car a low control control ARM and shock absorber and 2 days later appears a sound in the same side repaired, now Carlos toll me is a mount strut and now a have to pay more than the firts repair ... You dont have value added service and you did tell that only because a paid for change shock absorber and control arm ... Bad excuse...bad service. You have lost a client and references...

Me cambiaron a mi petición 2 partes: un amortiguador y un brazo de extensión del mismo lado, 2 dias después aparece un ruido al girar el timon ( ruido que no tenia) y al revisarlo Carlos me dice que es el soporte de amortiguador, ahora lo llevo para ponerlo pero resulta que me cobran mas de lo que pague por poner las 2 piezas dichas antes cuando ese error o falla pudieron haberme dicho el mismo dia que desarmaron para armar el amortiguador ... La respuesta del encargado es que le pague para que me pusiera el amortiguador y el control arm no mas .... No hay servicio de valor agregado ya que al ver el daño o debieron probarlo antes de entregarlo y advertirlo para no pagar doble por una pieza que cuesta sólo 16 dls ... Ademas me insinuó que no lo hiciera perder el tiempo. Pierden un cliente y mis referencias.
