Someone tried to steal my early 90s van while visiting Edmonton from BC. Had it towed to this shop for repairs. Had the steering column replaced with a used one, the passenger door lock was repaired. Also had a used tire replaced at my cost, as my insurance wouldnt cover it ($99). Insurance bill was over $1900 for the repairs they made.

Even though, they told me they had test driven it on completion, its strange that the vehicle no longer went into park. I called the shop to let them know, but after initially waiting 2.5 months for this repair, I just headed back to BC to eat the cost of repairing the park issue myself.

Upon repairing in BC, the mechanic discovered that the wrong part was used for the linkage between the column and the transmission. Also the column itself was secured with zapstraps instead of screws. The electronic cruise control was also no longer working, and the stripped wires were shorting out my dash board. Power mirrors also no longer worked. My trailer brake assist was not rewired, but tossed under my passenger seat. My BC mechanic ordered a new column. And replaced all the wiring, as well as replaced the fused and rewired the trailer brake adapter. Total cost in BC-$360 for the new column. $320 for labour(4 hours). So wth? Did they charge my insurance $1300 too much and installed a used part? BC is NEVER less expensive than AB. This is pretty disheartening.

Mechanic is terrible. My 6 year old nephew could've done a better job.
Unprofessional, janky repair. The cut-corners are obvious.

Disappointed. Jason is the only reason I'm giving 2 stars. Y'all deserve 0 stars.

Driving is so smooth now.
Perfect job!
